Henry Feaster [1] was my 5-greats grandfather, son of Johan Ludwig Feister, who immigrated from Germany in 1752. His first wife, Susanna, was the mother of Henry [2] born in Bucks County, 1786. Henry [1] served in Bucks Co. Militia , 1775; is on Bucks Co. Tax Records, 1779-1787; Berks Co. Land Warranty, 1792; Moved to VA, 1810-1819; Died Aug. 21, 1822; Buried Rockingham Co. VA. Henry Feaster [1], my 5-greats grandfather, obtained a Warrantee of Land in Berks County (85 Acres, Date of Survey: Sept. 18, 1792) under his father's name, Feister, as it appeared on the ship's passenger list in 1752. In the 1780s, he paid taxes and was later married under the angelicized spelling. This is his only known use of Feister.
