- Since the year 1891 the Philipsconcern produces light bulbs at the city of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. From September first, 2009 the light bulb may not be sold in the stores of The Netherlands. Reason: expenditure of to much energy (more heat than light), which lead to environment pollution. The stores sell electricity-saving lamps and ledlamps now.

Annotation "Lemuel W. Ferrell" should be "Lemuel W. Serrell". See page 2 of this document.
George T. Pinckney's middle initial looks like a "T" to me, as does the initial letter in Lemuel W.'s last name. I'd guess he was a Terrell, not a Ferrell or a Serrell.
