I wore Herndon A. Bivens name bracelet for over 20yrs. I used to live in Washington, D.C. and saw his name on the wall. I wanted his family to know I still have the bracelet. So if they ever read this note I would love to hear from them.

I also wore Herndon A Bevins bracelet. I picked it out at Keesler AFB, MS. I was an Air Force wife. My children also wore a bracelet of an MIA. Herndon went missing on my Birthday (37th). This way I never forgot the day. I also would like his family to know that I still look at the bracelet and say a prayer for them. I found his name back in 1985 when the moving wall was in Melbourne FL in Wickham Park. I felt a closeness even though I never met him physically. I am now 75 years old and I will never forget the the sacafice you made for all of us. Thanks Herndon, and thanks to your family you left behind to grieve for you. Betty Evans
