To Louis Lotbiniere, Jr.", but the chaplain François-Louis Chartier de Lotbinière, Catholic priest did not had any son, as far as my knowledge goes. So this letter is more likely from his brother Michel Chartier de Lotbinière, who did travel to England, had a son, Michel-Eustache-Gaspard-Alain Chartier de Lotbinière, and this son became an American prisonner after defending the Canadian border at the Fort Chambly under the commands of de Belestre and de Longueuil. I put some footnotes according to this.
