Records are sorted by units within regiments from each state in the Union. Find a soldier by searching on his name or browse by regiment. Dr. Charles Scott Woodmansee died January 18, 1902 at his home on Richardson Street in Grass Valley, Nevada County, CA. He is buried in the Grass Valley Masonic Cemetery on Kidder Avenue, Grass Valley, Nevada County, CA. His government issued stone is very worn and in need of replacement. John Miners Young died July 6, 1905 at his home on Alta Street in Grass Valley, Nevada County, CA. He is buried in the Grass Valley Masonic Cemetery on Kidder Avenue, Grass Valley, Nevada County, CA. His government issued stone is in dire need of replacement. Also in the same plot is Dr. Charles Scott Woodmansee another veteran of the Civil War. He was the brother-in-law of John Miners ...more
