There were two Edmond (Edmund) Barrier's from the same town, who enlisted in the same Regiment and Company. The other Edmond Barrier (1819-1879) enlisted in October 1863. He died October 17, 1879. Pages 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 refer to this Edmond Barrier.

There were two Edmond (Edmund) Barrier's from the same town, who enlisted in the same Regiment and Company. Edmond Brown Barrier (1826-1863) enlisted on December 1, 1862. He died of typhoid fever on August 23, 1863 at home in Cabarrus County, NC. Page 2 and Page 4 refer to Edmond Brown Barrier.
