Early Map of Georgia Shows Amazing Detail

While studying the Colonial American experience, it is amazing to look at the various maps that have been collected.  Despite a lack of total familiarity with the land, mapmakers managed to construct detailed maps, based on their travels and measurements.  The following 1757 map from the Georgia Historical Society represents this beautifully:
