Malpass Family Cemetery

Located near the Lenoir/Duplin County border in eastern North Carolina, the Malpass Family Cemetery is one of those quaint relics of the past located in the middle of an active crop field. Which crop it may be varies year by year, but when these pictures were taken, it was a field of plowed-under soybeans. I've been there when corn has been growing, and the cemetery is nearly impossible to find then.

Winnifred Malpass, daughter of Joel Malpass (also of the cemetery) married a Charlie Holland and they both are buried here.
