Howard Irving LEWIS, attended both Univ., of Alabama & Univ., of Maryland

My father graduated from both the University of Alabama & the University of Maryland.  He earned BA's for both journalism and political science.  He also earned a scholarship from the University of Alabama, while attending.  Howard was editor of the University of Alabama's school newspaper.

Howard died January 9th, 2009 at Marley Neck Health & Rehab., which is located in Marley Neck, Maryland. (Anne Arundel Co., Maryland.)

There is an OBITUARY online at the Maryland Gazette Newspaper site, that is the oldest still operating newspaper in the US. which is located in Anne Arundel Co., Maryland. January 2009

Howard Irving LEWIS, Joseph's only son died in Anne Arundel Co., Maryland on the morning of January 09, 2009. Howard died of a HEART ATTACK, at somewhat over 90 years of age. Howard married only once to a Marie Louise ELFERS b. NYC and had only two children. Howard died in Marley Neck OR Glen Burnie, Maryland where he spent his last years of residence, since about 1992. He had lived about 40 years at 1402 East-West highway, West hyattsville, Maryland, which is located in Prince Georges Co., MD 20783.
