Grandpa was a good old guy.  He had a great sense of humor and liked to kid around a lot.  He was a big tease and one day while visiting us at our home in Glendora, we were all sitting around the table and Grandpa decided to start a food fight.  I was a teenager and did not think that this was proper table behavior.  Especially since I ended up with mashed potatoes in my hair!  Grandpa liked to play cribbage and was good at it.  He was also prone to a little cheating when counting up his score.  But it was all in good fun.  He loved to fish and had a airstream trailer on Lake Mead for many years with Grandma.  Before that, they lived in Iowa and their big house was at the top of a golf course.  We would roll down the hill in the spring and sled down the hill in the winter.  There was also a ravine next to their house where we would hide and play forts etc. We always had fun visiting Grandpa and Grandma.
