Today, Shannon would have been 39! Missing him today. To all of you out there who have loved ones, get their voices recorded someway, preferrably on video. I don't have anything but the memory of his voice...but thank you Lord it will alway be in memory!

His laugh, his slight uh-uh-uh! I miss him!

Today Shantasha turned 5 years old!

This week I have thought some much about you, everytime I look into your daughter's eyes I see you, I hear your voice. When I drive by certain places I still look for you. When we have family gathering I expect you to be there. When I see people playing the drums, I say to myself you can't play better than my cousin. There is so much that reminds me of you. I miss you so much and I love you always.

My cuz, he had the biggest heart. I can't remember a time he wasn't smiling & enjoying life. Those are the times I'll always remember and smile about even though he's been taken from my life so suddenly..even though the sadness & longing to see him again brings such sadness. His sense of humor & overflowing loving nature will be forever missed.

When I received the news on March 25, 2008 that Shannon's body had been found in the river in Knoxville....life has changed drastcally for me. I will always miss him.

Received from Sharon Ramseur: I am so sorry to hear about your son Shannon's passing. I do remember him from visiting Newton New Jerusalem and going to all the FBH conferences and trips with Western NC District. Always had a wonderful spirit and he always picked on me too (LOL)....great sense of humor.

the few times i saw him, i can always remember his smile. he was a great brother and a wonderful son. he is truly missed
