The UPLAND CEMETERY is located in Bell County KN. The Upland Primitive Baptist Church was located on this site. This is where Elizabeth (Howard) [Bingham] [Short] Hobbs is buried. Along with some of her children, Varilla (Bingham) Simpson, wife of Elder A. B. Simpson. Abram and Varilla Simpson were my mother's, Susie (nee Simpson) Beason, parents.

Elizabeth Hobbs was Elizabeth nee Howard. She first married Thomas Jefferson Bingham. William Bingham listed in the next house hold was her oldest son. Fuson Hobbs was her youngest son.
