Photog: Staff Serfeant L. E. Hoeynck. PRESENT ARMS -- Major General Earl E. Anderson, prior to being awarded the Distinguished Service Medal, salutes as the National Anthems are sounded for the United States, the Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea. Honor guards representing the three allied forces participated in the ceremony honoring General Anderson, outgoing chief of staff of the III Marine Amphibious Force. A Vietnamese popular forces truck passes through the road block as a U. S. Marines jeep and occuopants control this point.
