This document is attributed to "Lotbiniere, Louis. Boston. To Louis Lotbiniere, Jr.", but the chaplain François-Louis Chartier de Lotbinière, Catholic priest did not had any son, as far as my knowledge goes. So this letter is more likely from his brother Michel Chartier de Lotbinière, who did travel to England, had a son, Michel-Eustache-Gaspard-Alain Chartier de Lotbinière, and this son ...more
