    Aug. 17, 2008 I visited the R.I. Veterans Cemetary today and while there, I checked the list of dead and MIA in Viet Nam, which is a set of monuments with the names inscribed. I checked Col. Cappelli's name and there has been a correction on the stone which lets you know that he is no longer missing.

    I never knew you personally, but I remember your Father and Mother well. I have visited the wall and looked up your name and remember your sacrifice for this country. Tragic, even all these years later.

    I worked with Colonel Cappelli's brother for many years and I only knew of his being shot down and the later return of his remains. His family was well known in R.I. and if any of his family or friends see this, I have not forgotten his sacrifice and service to this country. I will look up his name when next I visit the wall.

    Sargeant Joseph Thomas Pigeon Jr. died in 1968. He was from War. R.I. I would like to contact his sister Elaine, it has been many years. You can contact me through this site.
