  • The data on this particular document (para 5 refers) is grossly inaccurate; the location of the crash was 2 miles NE of Lowestoft, Suffolk off the village of Corton. Parts of the B-17, including an engine actually fell in Lowestoft before it flew out to sea and crashed. BC
