  • SSGT Joseph Blair was a member of the U.S. Army 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) assigned to A-244 Dak To, Kontum Provience, South Vietnam. SSGT Blair was killed in the early morning hours of June 14, 1967 while on patrol with his team which was ambushed by the NVA. Fellow Special Forces soldier SFC Fredrick J. Lechak was also killed during that same action.

  • SFC Fredrick J. Lechak was a member of the U.S. Army 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) assigned to A-244 Dak To, Kontum Provience, South Vietnam. A career soldier who dedicated his life to helping others was killed by the NVA while on patrol on the morning of June 14, 1967. His bravery helped to save fellow members of his team and was awarded the Silver Star for his actions.

  • SFC James Charles Fekete was killed in action while trying to recover fallen members of the 5th Special Forces Group operating out of A-244 Dak To in the Kontum Provience of South Vietnam who were ambushed in the early morning hours of June 14, 1967.
