Anyone interest in Stans story or some marine history of the time should Read the Book "Lions of Medina" by Doyle D. Glass. This and anewer book should be avaible in book stores. It details operation medina in the fall of 1967 with the 1st bn, 1st div marines.

I was so happy (thanks to virtual wall) to find out what happened all those years ago. I was with you your last night in town and at your funeral as a pall bearer (an honor for me). I would never have dreamed about the book on the mission that took you from us (Lion of Medina).
