Feb 4th, 1969 John Madden is named the Oakland Raiders Head Coach
John Maddon became the youngest head coach in pro football in 1969. He was 33 years old when he took over the Oakland Raiders. He would take them to a Super Bowl win and then become one of the most famous sports broadcasters of all time.
