From British Solider to Colonial American Patriot

I find it fascinating to think that my ancestor, William Reynolds, served in the Pennsylvania frontier along with George Washington. Did they cross paths? Did he ever talk to Washington? Interestingly, Reynolds is in the Letters of Henry Bouquet.
