ShareGunnery Sgt. John Basilone, Medal of Honor Recipient
Sgt. Basilone, an Italian American from Raritan, New Jersey was a Marine Corps Legend. He was the only enlisted Marine in WWII to win the Medal of Honor and the Navy Cross. He fought on Guadalcanal and died on Iwo Jima.
