Appeal for corn for soldiers' families in Galveston, Feb. 1865
Hartley has heard that the Trinity is up, that there are flat boats being constructed, and that there is corn in the govt. cribs upstream. He appeals for corn to be sold to the Galv. county court for distribution to soldiers' families.
