German draft resistance in the Austin County, Texas area
This entire file is important to the study of German Unionism in Texas. It includes affidavits from a number of Germans who attended the anti-draft meeting at Roeder's Mill, Dec. 31, 1862. I have not seen these referenced anywhere else.
