A 14 year old POW appeals to be released from Camp Groce
A 14 year old orphan captured on the "Wave" in Louisiana and incarcerated at Camp Groce, Texas, attracted the attention of a Confederate officer who requested his release. According to the endorsements, the appeal was granted.
