Rebel Pvt Noah Cox younger brother of John Wesley Cox and uncle to my pater
nal great-grandmother Cynthia Cox Land. Noah was discharged early due to " poor health " Still had to surrender to Union forces and take the Oath of Alliegence at Jonesboro, Tennessee May 1st, and 21st, 1865. Refused a pension by the State of Tenn.
