Jeremiah Cox, Revolutionary War Drummer, was the paternal grandfather of
John Wesley Cox & the paternal great-grandfather of my great-grandmother, Cynthia Cox Land. Left Virginia with a land-grant for his service and settled in what would become Sullivan Co.in East Tennessee. Many descendants still live here today.
