The real Coca-Cola Classic: Pemberton's French Wine

When launched, Coca Cola's two key ingredients were cocaine and caffeine. Pemberton's recipe called for 9 milligrams of cocaine per glass, which sold for $1 (about $23 in 2007 dollars). By 1890s, the price was down to 5 cents.
