Lt Col, Meriweather LEWIS, who later became "Bevet General" POW.
POW in Union hospital, due to a wound in lung, serious, he had a seperate room. He is also, mentioned in a book written by a Pvt., DOOLEY, about the Civil War, who was in the same hospital. See one of my story pages about this soldier.
