This B.26 is '42-107740' .T6-U. of the (573rd B.Sq) within the 391st Bomb-Group, based at Matching-Green, in Essex, England (where this picture was taken) = 88mm shell smashed the tail on 20th May 1944; T6-U was repaired & went on to fly 96 missions
