Obituary's

     My  Grandfather was born June 11, 1872, Town of Friendship, son of Lyman and Mariam  P.Gardner Walker.  Grandpa retired after 31 years of service at the Benita Candy Co, W, as  Station Engineer. They Let him come to Oregon during WW II to work at the Food Canning Co. by the Hawthorn Bridge. For The life of me I can't remember the name of that place. I used to love it when he'd have Mom and I come down to his shop and take us out to meet all his girl friends. Young, old,  inbetween they all loved him,bring him, pie ,cake, ice cream dinners some times,ah heck he was already in his 70's.
